Projects
- The effects of environmental changes on marine mammals, including the consequences of fishing and pollution on the marine environment.
- Determining the magnitude of human impact on marine animals, in terms of conservation, exploitation, and fisheries-related mortality using ancient DNA.
- The effects of reduced variability and potential bottlenecks on marine mammal populations and their ability to withstand disease epidemics, epizootic attacks, rapid changes in the environment, and long-term environmental changes, such as gradual climatic shifts.
