Graduate student training is an important component
of ConGen. Students from Columbia, Yale, NYU, CUNY and Fordham Universities are
trained and conduct research across the full
purview of conservation genetics. In this way we
play a significant role in training the next
generation of conservation biologists here and
in developing countries. Students are currently
working on a wide array of endangered
terrestrial, freshwater, and marine vertebrates
and invertebrates.
